We’re so excited that Greenbuild – the world’s largest conference and expo on green building – will be in New Orleans later this month! Here are the top five things we look forward to at Greenbuild every year:
1) Seeing our friends!
Greenbuild is a great opportunity to reconnect with people across the country who share our enthusiasm for sustainable, affordable housing. We may only see each other once a year – but its always a party.
2) Meeting new friends
If you’re at Greenbuild this year, we’d love to meet you and talk about your work, your products or just give you recommendations of great places to hang out in New Orleans. Stop by and see us at Expo Space #1255 – or any of our panels or events found on this page.
3) Checking out new products
Every year in the Greenbuild Expo, our construction staff looks for the latest, most innovative products for our affordable, sustainable homes. We can’t wait to see something new in New Orleans.
4) Learning from experts in our field
Greenbuild offers an incredible variety of educational opportunities – from workshops to panels to continuing education and certification courses. We helped develop several educational tracts in the affordable housing and renewable energy categories this year. And we’re looking forward to learning from the great line-up of presenters and speakers.
5) Spreading the word about Make It Right, our homes and the families we serve
Our work began in New Orleans – and there’s no better place to show the world how we build beautifully-designed, LEED Platinum, affordable homes for people in need.
