Katherine O’Bryon

Administrative Project Coordinator

As Administrative Project Coordinator, Katherine O’Bryon liaises with contractors, architects, vendors and staff to support the day-to-day operations related to the construction of Make It Right’s LEED Platinum homes in New Orleans.

Katherine studied at the University of Vermont and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Community and International Development. She continued her education in environmental architecture and sustainable design by becoming an accredited LEED Green Associate. Upon accepting a position with her professor’s contractor firm, Katherine spent a year in rural West Virginia, where she began as a Design/Build Assistant working on a large commercial project for Patch Adam’s Gesundheit Institute. Participating in both the projects’ physical construction and design processes, she gained a unique perspective of construction techniques and the daily tasks of project budgeting and management. Shortly after the project closed for the winter, Katherine moved to New Orleans, where she joined Make It Right, a project she finds closely matches her passion for sustainable building, design and community.
