Scott Freeze joined Make It Right in 2008. A native of Chicago, he has done IT work for organizations such as McDonald’s Corporation, Waste Management Inc, and the Hub Group. He received many certifications in various IT platforms.
Moving to New Orleans in 2002, he was the IT director for the Fairmont New Orleans in August 2005 and chose to stay with the hotel during Hurricane Katrina. Having experienced the storm and its effects firsthand, Scott fully devoted his efforts to helping those directly affected.
Due to severe damage, The Fairmont was permanently closed and therefore he began working with The Road Home Project, which assisted the victims of Katrina in obtaining the monetary relief needed for them to return to their homes. Once that project was completed, he joined the Make It Right team in order to continue the relief efforts.
