Carie A. Fischer serves as Associate Counsel at Make It Right. As a Louisiana licensed attorney and member of the Make It Right legal team, Carie supports executive management in all legal related matters for the Organization with a focus on contracts, business relations, transactions, governance, compliance, real estate development, and risk management.
In addition to her work with Make It Right, Carie helped establish the non-profit LearnToLive, a humanitarian organization that provides healthcare, education, and clean water to global communities through the promotion of sustainable practices. Carie currently serves as an Advisor to the LearnToLive Board of Directors.
A sixth generation New Orleanian, Carie received her B.A., Magna Cum Laude, in psychology from Loyola University New Orleans in 2005, J.D. in Civil Law with a concentration in Environmental Law from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2010, and her Masters of Urban and Regional Planning, Magana Cum Laude, in Land Use and Urban Design from the University of New Orleans in 2014.
